After 6 weeks or so of battleing what my dad thinks is viral pnemonia (never went to the dr) the coughing is not as frequent and no longer painful. My nose still runs a bit but it's nice to take a deep breath without congestion or coughing cutting it short. My ears have been clogged for the last 3 weeks and since Tuesday they have been beginning to open and drain. Sometimes the popping is painful, espcially if I yawn and it feels weird to hear again. My energy is coming back thanks to the red meat I've been eating a lot of lately and I'm feeling human again.

It snowed Sunday morning and finally melted off today. Something I thought was pretty cool considering the temp hasn't been above freezing since Saturday and the wind has been very light or non-exhistant. More stuff expected by noon tomorrow. Not sure what or how much, I've been getting conflicting reports from the tv. Not unusal but it seems to be worse than normal. Depending on the weather Rex may be coming down Friday.

We had planned on going to Ponca City this weekend and visiting the Marland House. But they have had at least 17 inches of snow and we decided to go another weekend. He got 8 inches up at his house and his kids were out of school Monday and Tuesday.

Rex goes to his shrink every few months to go over how he's doing and if he needs an increase/decrease in his anti-depressants. Well, his appointment was today and his ex-wife had wrote a letter to the dr saying Rex was a narcassistic sex-addict. He asked me if this was true. He's the furthest thing from narcassistic you can get. He enjoys pleasing people and giving. The other day someone was in line behind him at the quick-stop with a coke and on impluse he bought it for them. He had no idea who they were, just something nice he felt like doing.

And as for being a sex addict... well, if he is then I'm more than happy being his enabler and have no plans on arranging an intervention or helping him help himself.

Wow. Cosmo was right, if i drink plenty of water and moistureize every day after I get out of the shower, my skin will look great. Well, not great but looking better. At least I don't hear my own skin crackle when I move anymore.

Rex came over last night. He brought with him 10 beauiful pink French Tulips.

We went out to eat and then to Sam's Club where he bought 50 feet of rope light. He's going to put some sort of crown moulding around the wall next to the ceiling then put the rope light ontop of it for some soft lighting. As we were leaving he suggested wrapping me up in it. I think it surprised him that I was agreeable to that. Be all tied down with rope lighting.

Pretty sad when you have to use the buzz from the decongestants in order to get a little cleaning done.

At first it was called a search and rescue. How can someone survive an explosion at 12,500 miles per hour 200,000 above the Earth? This morning one of the news channels showed a picture of a nasa patch laying in the grass. It looked like someone placed a patch in the grass, took a picture of it and emailed it just to see if it could be on tv. It looked too perfect, not scorched or anything, like they just bought it.

There's a couple in Iowa that watched their son die when the world trade centers collasped. Then they watched their neice die when shuttle broke up. That would be enough to make me get rid of my tv and never watch it again.

Three hours ago Columbia broke up on re-entry. All 7 crew members feared dead. My thoughts & prayers are with the families.

Just the other day I was reading on National Geographic online about the ants they took into space with them. The ants were a part of a high school science project. It took 3 yrs to get those ants into space, and space is where they will remain. I thought that was a cool project and hoped their reports they had to right afterward would be put online so I could read them.
